Arcadia Nature Camp | Philosophy & Credentials
Our philosophy is to have fun and make friends while learning about the natural world. Through hands-on activities, campers come to understand their place in nature as well as the importance of preserving it. We provide opportunities for structured free play, during which campers of various ages and developmental stages interact, learn important social skills, and gain appreciation for nature and each other.
Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
At Mass Audubon Camps, we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and caring camp environment where each person is respected and supported in their learning and growth. We believe that diversity—both in nature and in our human communities—is essential to strength, resilience, and innovation, and we are committed to recognizing the unique contributions of each community member.
Arcadia Nature Camp has decades of experience in connecting children to nature. We are proud of our reputation of running a safe, organized educational program where each child matters.
Our camp complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430) and is licensed by the Easthampton and Northampton Boards of Health.
American Camp Association (ACA) Accreditation
We are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). Developed exclusively for the camp industry, this nationally recognized program requires that we meet up to 300 standards linked to program quality, health and safety, management, and camp operations. Accreditation is voluntary and assures that camps have made the commitment to a safe, nurturing environment for children. Learn more about what it means to be ACA accredited >

What Others are Saying . . .
"I’m pretty sure whatever you are doing you should keep doing, since my oldest checked to see how much longer she can keep going until she 'ages out.' She was thrilled to know she has a few more years before that happens!" –Camp Parent
"Great job. Thank you for caring for our kids and the natural world." –Camp Parent
