What People Are Saying

“We really love the camp and the staff and will continue to come every year! Wildwood does a great job and takes wonderful care of our kids.”

“Love the counselors' energy, obvious talents, and attention to campers (and parents)!”

“[My son] loved the counselors, teachers, other campers, drama class, outdoor classes, meal time, you name it!”

At Wildwood, we pride ourselves on our high-quality staff, a diverse group of talented and caring individuals. We seek enthusiastic, fun, and mature adults who care about the safety and well-being of our campers, each other, and the natural environment.

All Wildwood staff members complete a thorough application, background check and screening process, as well as a two-week training before camp begins. Staff members must have current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications, and many staff members have additional certifications and qualifications in their program areas (like Lifeguard, Archery Instructor, and Challenge Course Facilitator). The majority of our counseling staff are of college age and majoring in science or education.

These staff members facilitate programming and train and oversee counseling staff to assist in those areas. All program area directors are at least 21 years old and complete additional training before counseling staff arrive.
