Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary
Wellfleet Bay provides peace and unmatched beauty on the hillsides and shoreline overlooking Wellfleet Harbor. Extensive trails bring you to a panoramic salt marsh, sandy barrier beach, and pine woodlands, each attracting a wide array of wildlife. For a 5th year, Wellfleet Bay, the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, and WCAI Radio are pleased to announce a presentation of our Sea Change environmental film series. Films will be shown at WHAT's Julie Harris Stage. The series begins Saturday, February 4 at 7 pm with Saving Jamaica Bay.
The 2016 sea turtle cold-stun stranding season has drawn to a close, the sanctuary's third busiest with 476 turtles recovered from the Cape's bayside beaches.
