Ipswich River Nature Day Camps
At Ipswich River Nature Day Camps in Topsfield, Marblehead, and Essex, campers ages 4–14 have fun learning about nature on the North Shore.
Programs are specially designed to promote a child’s innate curiosity and excitement for the natural world through outdoor exploration, hands-on-activities, games, songs, and arts and crafts. Our trained, knowledgeable staff encourage a friendly environment in which campers can make friends and memories that last a lifetime.
Our flagship camp, located at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield. Campers ages 4–14 explore a variety of North Shore habitats, including fields, forests, and wetlands on our 2,000-acre wildlife sanctuary.
Campers ages 5–12 explore forest, field, pond, and coastal habitats and wildlife surrounding Hamond Nature Center in Marblehead.
Campers ages 7–10 explore salt marsh habitat and wildlife at Essex County Greenbelt Association’s Cox Reservation in Essex.
We provide campers with a unique opportunity to learn about nature, meet new friends, and have fun! Our goal is to introduce children to nature in hopes that one day they will conserve what they have come to love and understand. Small group sizes allow us to provide a high-quality educational experience and a welcoming, supportive environment.
Our caring, well-prepared counselors are actively engaged in teaching and playing with campers. Each staff member provides enthusiasm for outdoor exploration, the desire to educate, and a caring heart for children.
