Group Memberships

We offer three types of group memberships: Library Partners, Community Partners, and Organizational memberships.

Library Partners Program

Our Library Partners Program includes discounted admission to more than 60 spectacular wildlife sanctuaries across the state, where library patrons can explore and enjoy the nature of Massachusetts. Library Partners also provide vital support for protecting wildlife and wild lands in Massachusetts.

A Library Partners membership is $350 per year.

Program Benefits

  • A one-year Library Partners membership ($350) includes:
  • A Library Partners pass, valid during normal hours of operation at Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries, with the exception of occasional fundraising days. The pass may be used for up to four people per visit (adults, seniors, or children age two or older; children under two are admitted free). Each will be charged a discounted rate of just $2 for admission to any Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuary.
  • Two copies of Places to Explore, a full-color guide to Mass Audubon’s wildlife sanctuaries, nature centers, and museums. These may be lent out to patrons when they use a Library Partners pass.
  • Free one-year subscription to Explore, our quarterly member newsletter.
  • Press release sent to the local newspaper letting your community know of your participation in the Mass Audubon Library Partners program (see sign up form for more information).
  • Promotional flyer for onsite display, alerting patrons to the many exciting opportunities included in the Library Partners program.

Community Partners Program

Mass Audubon’s Community Partners Program presents local businesses and nonprofits with an opportunity to offer great benefits to their employees while supporting Mass Audubon’s efforts to protect wildlife and wild lands in the local community and across Massachusetts.

This program offers different levels, to suit businesses large and small with annual dues ranging from $500 to $5,000.

Program Benefits

  • Memberships for employees, providing them with a full year of all Mass Audubon has to offer—from free wildlife sanctuary admission to special savings on programs and gift shop purchases.
  • Passes for free wildlife sanctuary admission to be enjoyed by your team or gifted to others in your community.
  • Community Partners employees may also purchase new Mass Audubon memberships for themselves or as gifts at a savings of 50% off the regular rate!

Organizational Membership Program

Our Organizational Membership is designed for self-guided visitation by small groups of up to six clients, accompanied by the requisite staff from your organization/agency.

Organizational Membership is ideal for places like residential group homes, senior living communities, social service groups, and specialty schools.

The public facilities at most of our staffed wildlife sanctuaries are universally accessible, and we have many fully accessible trails. Some sites also offer multi-sensory interpretive trails, accessible maps, and audio tours.

An Organizational Membership is $200 per year for nonprofit organizations or programs or $250 for for-profit organizations or programs. Organizations may purchase more than one Organizational Membership, and each will include the same benefits.

Program Benefits

  • Free admission for up to six clients and one staff member or other facilitator from your organization/agency, accompanied by the requisite number of PCA’s, aides, job coaches, or 1:1 supports (not to exceed 6), per visit. The group’s free admission is valid at all Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries, nature centers, and museums—except on special fundraising days.
  • Places to Explore, a full-color guide to Mass Audubon’s wildlife sanctuaries, nature centers, and museums.
  • Free one-year subscription to Explore, our quarterly member newsletter.

Please Note: Each group must include at least one staff member or facilitator. The total number of clients cannot exceed six per visit. All visiting groups are responsible for their own transportation to and from Mass Audubon sites.
