Citizen Science
Citizen Science is an opportunity for you to participate in wildlife research and protection efforts. Felix Neck monitors populations of shorebirds, horseshoe crabs, salamanders, odonates (damselflies and dragonflies), butterflies, and breeding birds. Our Citizen Scientists can be found on the beach observing coastal waterbirds including piping plovers, terns, and American oystercatchers, surveying spawning horseshoe crabs by the light of the full moon, and in the woods searching for salamanders. We provide training for individuals and groups. For more information contact us at felixneck@massaudubon.org or call 508 627 4850.
