Halfway To Our Goal

The future of Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary just got one (major) step closer to becoming a reality.

Last week, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Coastal Wetlands Conservation Program awarded Mass Audubon, working in partnership with the Department of Conservation and Recreation, a $1 million grant for Tidmarsh. This grant comes on top of a previous $1 million Massachusetts Landscape Partnership grant awarded to the project as well as $500,000 donated by private individuals.

But our work is far from done. We still need to raise an additional $1.1 million by June 30, 2017, to purchase the 479-acre former cranberry farm in Plymouth. Will you help us get to the finish line?
