Homeschool Fall Chickadee Class (Ages 4 & 5 with Adult) - Wednesdays AM
Description
Chickadees are curious, energetic, and small but brave. In this series for homeschool families with younger children (ages 4&5 with an adult tagging along), explore nature on the sanctuary, do fun hands-on activities, and learn about the wildlife and wild places that are all around us.
Little ones are full of endless questions and nature is full of things to make them say What? Where? When? And Why?This season each class will focus on a different question which we will explore through songs, crafts, hikes, and observation of real live creatures all over the sanctuary.

October 4: Why Do the Leaves Change Color?
October 11: Who Lives in the Rockery Pond?
October 18: What is it Like to Live Under a Log?
October 25: Do Birds Have a Favorite Food?
November 1: What Clues Do Mammals Leave Behind?
November 8: How Do Animals Get Ready for Winter?
* If needed, we will have a make-up class on November 15th.

Meets outside in front of the sanctuary buildings. Please come dressed for the weather. This is NOT a drop off class. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult each class.
