Our drop-off school vacation week program immerses children in nature through stories, games, crafts, and hikes led by our experienced team of environmental educators.
The birds are singing and flowers are blooming! Trek through the woods, salt marshes, and tidal flats to discover nature springing back to life at the sanctuary. Search for life under logs, beneath the mud, and soaring overhead. We'll have the chance to meet wildlife researchers and learn about some of the techniques used to study wildlife. Groups will focus on a different theme each day of the week. Groups will be divided by age.
Please note that participants must complete and submit health forms including immunization records. Forms and records must be submitted in their entirety before children can participate in the program.
This program is generously subsidized by supporters of our annual fundraising event Wild, Wild Wellfleet!
Please note that participants must complete and submit attached health forms including submitting a copy of their immunization records at least two days prior to the program. A physical record and copy of the child's insurance card are not required for vacation adventures. Forms and records must be submitted in their entirety before children can participate in the program. Forms may be submitted via email to email@example.com or by fax to 508-349-2632.
We will venture outside for field investigations, exploration, and time to play each day. Please pack indoor and outdoor footwear, warm layers, hats, and a lunch, snack, and water bottle.
Please arrive and check-in 10 minutes before the start of the program. Please note that we accept drop-ins as space permits, but strongly encourage you to plan extra time for completing your registration so that your child may be settled in the classroom before we begin.
Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
