Help Sanctuary staff and fellow volunteers complete the installation of the new ADA Accessibility Trail in the meadow at Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary and make existing trails more accessible as well. The ADA Trail will be a hardpack trail lined with a guideline, complete with informative and educational stops available to all and easily traversable. Work is performed outdoors and may be physically demanding, at times, but is rewarding and instrumental in making Tidmarsh a welcoming, educational, and accessible sanctuary to all.

Volunteer events are planned to take place on September 11th, 18th, and 25th, weather permitting. You may sign up for one, two, or all three days. Additional events may take place in the future as needed.

Examples of projects include installing guideline posts and rope, leveling and adjusting the hardpack material of the trail, installing benches, and other trail maintenance. Volunteers will gain new skills, connect with neighbors and connect with nature.
