Young children are naturally curious about the out-of-doors, eager to see a turtle, smell a flower, feel the cool underside of a log, and search for animal homes in the woods. Discoverers are introduced to plants and animals through outdoor explorations, crafts, games, songs, and stories.
Theme: Marsh Mysteries
Discover the mysteries of the marsh, swamps and ponds. Use your observation skills to discover frogs and turtles hiding among the lily pads. Learn about the wildlife, both plants and animals, that make up Stony Brook's wetlands.
