Reading passages from authors like Carson and Thoreau that celebrate beach ecology will inspire us to continue visiting Duxbury Beach throughout all four seasons.
This program is open to adults.
All participants must agree to wear face coverings or masks if they are not vaccinated and maintain safe social distancing. Each program will be limited to 15 registrants. Noncompliance will result in separation from the program.
Registration will open each Monday for the following week's programs. At that time, visit massaudubon.org/northriverprograms to register online. You may also leave a voicemail message at 781-837-9400, but please note that leaving a message does not guarantee registration - someone will send an email confirmation or return your call.
All programs meet on the ocean side of the Powder Point Bridge at the intersection with Gurnet Rd on Duxbury Beach. After crossing the bridge, there is a small building on the right - let them know you are there for the Mass Audubon program and they will direct you to park in the small lot behind the building. Parking is free for participants for the duration of the program. Please check in with the instructor upon arrival.
Mass Audubon is grateful for the generosity of the Duxbury Beach Reservation Inc for funding this annual series and for their service and dedication to protecting the critical resource we know as Duxbury Beach. We also thank the Duxbury Police Department Beach Operations Division.
