Explore with us! Guatemala is a small country full of natural and historic treasures. We will bird the world famous ancient Mayan ruins of Tikal as well as the fantastic lowland tropical forest, where Crested Guans may call from the trees or a Great Curassow may walk across the trail. We will stay at and learn about conservation work in the local community near Laguna del Tigre National (the largest national park in Guatemala and designated Ramsar site). The east end of the park contains two of the country's most important Scarlet Macaw nesting sites.
