Celebrate the components, creatures, and relationships that make Massachusetts coastlines vibrant, fascinating, essential, and awe-inspiring. We'll explore the ecology of several different coastal habitats, including tidal flats, salt marshes, and barrier beaches; and the plants and animals uniquely adapted to live within them. So much more than everyone's favorite vacation destination, Massachusetts coasts provide essential functions for wildlife, and people.
