Why should kids have all the fun? Together, we'll explore various habitats and share information about wildlife identification, native and invasive species, the effects of climate change, and more. You'll want your camera and binoculars for these encounters from a naturalist's perspective. And consider an optional group meal of picnic before or after!

The leaves from most of the deciduous trees have fallen, beavers are sealing up their lodges, and forest mammals are either preparing to hibernate or winterizing their burrows and dens. Let's walk the wooded trails at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, seeking out signs of early winter wildlife preparations, and see what birds will be here for the winter.
