Spring is in full bloom and many birds that spent winter in southern latitudes are back in Massachusetts. Some are just passing through, while others are setting up breeding territories. We'll look for and listen to these spring migrants, including wood-warblers, flycatchers, vireos, sparrows, and other songbirds. The Osgood Hill woodlands are also home to woodpeckers, raptors, and other resident species. This program is for birdwatchers of all skill levels.
Meet at the Stevens Estate at Osgood Hill, 723 Osgood St, North Andover. Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and the terrain with moderate inclines and potentially muddy trails. Bring a field guide, binoculars, and a scope if you have one. Bathroom facilities are not available during this program.
