Take your first step toward becoming a Joppa Flats education Volunteer with these in-the-field trainings. Joppa Flats volunteers help staff and teacher naturalists present programs to schools, groups, and families throughout the school year, both indoors and outdoors, in a wide variety of environments. Come to one, two, or all of these trainings and join the fun!

SPRING SERIES
Tuesdays / 8:30 am-12:30 pm
April 7: Bird Banding Station & Maritime Forest
April 14: Salt Marsh & Sandy Beach Ecology
April 28: Rocky Shore & Tide Pools

Instructions and Directions:

Meet at Joppa Flats Education Center. Please dress for the weather with appropriate footwear and bring a snack.

Joppa Flats Cancellation Policy: Please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your program if you must cancel. If you cancel less than 24 hours ahead, we can only offer a refund or credit if we subsequently fill your space. We cannot transfer your payment to another registration with less than 24 hours' notice.
