Great Blue Herons are deep observers, fast movers, and are vital to their habitat. This five-class series will feature exploration of the sanctuary's many habitats as well as active games, engaging challenges, and a deeper examination of our local ecology.
Do you have what it takes to survive in the wild in winter? We will hike to the perfect survival spot, look to our local wildlife for inspiration, and spend each class on a different outdoor survival skill.

Check-in is outside in front of the sanctuary buildings. Please come dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the entire class. For the Chickadee class an adult must come along with the group for each class. All other classes are drop-off and a health and emergency contact form will be required for each child.
All participants must wear a mask when going inside to use the bathrooms so please make sure you bring one to each class.
