Join Mass Audubon Teacher Naturalist Scott Santino for a morning walk to search for the beautiful birds of spring. Gain deeper knowledge about birds including migration, breeding behavior, and song. Together we'll focus on basic identification skills so you too can identify birds you see and hear in your neighborhood. This program is designed for adult beginners and all are welcome.
This free bird walk is supported in part by a grant from the Marblehead Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes and footwear. Bring a bird field guide and binoculars.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current municipal, state, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 14 preregistered participants. Participants are required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed 24 hours before the program.
