For teens 14-18 years old.
Interesting hikes, natural history topics to explore, hands-on projects, and wildlife data-collection opportunities will all be based on your input and interests in this exciting club for teens. This is your chance to get involved behind the scenes with Mass Audubon's science and conservation work. The club meets one or two Saturdays a month in a spring/summer session and fall/winter session. We also take one full-day field trip each session to connect with local organizations and learn more about environmental issues in our communities and how you can make a difference.
Past projects have included salamander monitoring, birding and bird conservation, pulling invasive plants and habitat restoration, wildlife tracking with trail cameras, water quality monitoring by canoe, and much more. You will also meet other local teens who are passionate about nature, science, and taking care of our world.
Oh, and snacks are included!
Meets in front of the Barn. Dress for the weather since we will be outside for the whole program. For more information email Cori Brauer at [email protected] Once you are signed up, you will be contacted with more details about the meetings.
