Woodcocks are amazing upland shorebirds, which nest in forested habitats. In early spring woodcocks make their way to field edges to court, filling the last hours of daylight with spectacular aerial displays. Listen for their unusual call and watch as they rocket 100' or more into the air and zigzag back to earth. Join us as we search out this spectacular rite of spring, while also listening and looking for other nocturnal creatures.
