Choose Your Program:

Meadow Sweeping: With sweep nets in hand, venture into the tall grass in search of the myriad insect life hiding there. Find out how to safely catch and release these critters and take a closer look at life in the meadow.

Ponding: Come enjoy Turtle Pond and discover the diversity of life living both above and below the water. Use Habitat's nets to catch macroinvertebrates-small aquatic animals with amazing adaptations to thrive in a wet world.

Birding: Birders of all experience levels are welcome to join a gentle walk around the sanctuary. Learn how to use binoculars and observe different species found in the forest, pond, and meadow habitats. Binoculars available!
