School this year is going to be different and may involve a lot of learning online or sitting quietly inside a classroom. An outdoor afterschool group is a safe way to let off steam, move our bodies, connect with nature and make friends - all while remaining socially distant and following Covid-safe procedures. Our groups will explore seasonal themes through nature exploration, artistic expression, games, and quiet reflection time, and will include a chance to share the ups and downs of this very different year with each other in a safe space.
Instructions and Directions:
For children age 9-12 by Fall, 2020. Class meets 10 Wednesdays. No class on 12/30/2020.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 11 preregistered participants. Program staff and participants are required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed at least 24 hours before the program.
