Entering Grades 6-8
Farm Trekkers is a new program and partnership between camp programs at the Boston Nature Center in Mattapan and Drumlin Farm. Each week, the program will bring together 10 Boston-area and 10 Lincoln-area children for a camp experience focused around food and farming. Children will have up-close time caring for the farm animals (cows, sheep, goats, pigs, and chickens), explore the varied habitats of Drumlin Farm and the Boston Nature Center (field, forest, and wetlands), work in the crop fields and gardens, and taste food that they gathered themselves. Transportation will be provided.
Sliding Scale Tuition
Sliding scale tuition is available to all Farm Trekkers. To use the sliding scale, pay only the deposit during registration. After completing your registration, you receive an email link to the online health form system, CampDoc. On CampDoc, you will provide your camper's health history, immunization records, and you may upload documents which verify your income for the sliding scale. You may also provide documents that verify your income by mail. Please complete this before May 1 - after this, everyone will be charged full price. To protect your personal information, fax and email submissions of income forms are discouraged.
