AFTER SEPTEMBER 5th, PLEASE CALL 781-259-2202 TO REGISTER
Bridge the summer and fall seasons with this diverse share. Shareholders receive 10 distributions of high-quality, sustainably produced vegetables from our farm, including summer favorites like heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and carrots, as well as the best of fall: parsnips, winter squashes, onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and other root crops. A variety of fresh and cooking greens is also included weekly.
Half shares receive half the volume of the full shares and some items may differ between full and half shares in any given week.
Watch for a welcome e-mail and your first weekly newsletter from our growers with additional info and recipes. Please bring your own bags and/or boxes to pack your veggies.
Fall CSA share holders can also particpate in our Veggie Pick-your-own (PYO) where you will harvest set amounts of cherry tomatoes, string beans, and (new this year) huskcherries. Due to limited quantities and to the prohibitive amount of time it takes us to harvest them for all of our shareholders, these particular crops are either excluded or offered in limited quantities to regular CSA shareholders. Gain access to greater volumes of these farm favorites by enrolling in PYO. Please note that PYO requires an additional 2-3 minute walk to our growing fields and happen rain, shine, or high heat.To register for this option add Fall CSA PYO Veggies to your cart.
We also partner with Autumn Hills Orchard in Groton, MA to offer you a selection of peaches, apples, pears, plums and grapes. The fruit share runs for the first few weeks of the share. Information and registration details will be sent to you via email.
Work Share - Please contact us at [email protected] for more information about this year's work share options. Field work shares are available, and offer a $50 discount off the price of the share. Work shares are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Mass Audubon Membership - If you are not already a member, we ask that you join Mass Audubon in order to participate in our CSA program. Learn more about the different levels of membership and their benefits at: www.massaudubon.org/membership.
Growing Practices- We believe that healthy food begins with healthy soil, and healthy soil depends on the vitality of surrounding ecosystems. We farm with the health of our adjacent woods, meadows, ponds, and vernal pools firmly in mind by actively stewarding these natural areas for birds and other wildlife. We follow all organic farming guidelines, and are committed to sustainable soil management by including rest periods in our crop rotation and by spreading our own compost over fields to promote soil fertility-compost made at Drumlin Farm from our humanely-raised livestock. We never use any chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Purchasing a CSA share at Drumlin Farm not only supports our farming program, but also Mass Audubon's overall mission to protect Massachusetts' biodiversity and ecosystems.

Instructions and Directions:
Distributions run from September 8th -November 17th. Watch for a welcome e-mail and your first weekly newsletter from our growers on Tuesday September 7th with additional info and recipes.
When you arrive at Drumlin Farm, please follow the signs through the parking lot to the pick-up area and pull up to one of the marked stations.
Please stay in your vehicle. We ask that you tape a piece of paper marked in large letters with your last name in the passenger side window. This will allow us to identify your share.
Our staff member (wearing masks and gloves) will bring your share to the station and leave it on a raised platform just outside your car. Once the staff member has moved away, you may get out of your vehicle to put your share in your car and proceed on your way.
In order to minimize wait times, we have assigned pick up times according to the first letter of your last name:
o Last name A-K: any time between 12-3pm
o Last name L-Z: any time between 3-6pm
o If you need to swap your timeslot for the season, please email [email protected] to let us know and we will be happy to let you switch. For simplicity, we ask that you not move your time slot from week to week, although we do understand that schedules change and things pop up, so some variations may occur.
If you are feeling ill, please send someone else to pick up your share.
