Heirloom tomatoes, juicy cantaloupes, sweet corn, and more! Enjoy the height of the growing season with our Summer Share. At each distribution we aim to provide our shareholders with 8-18 different crops, filling the weekly vegetable needs of a family of four, or 2-4 adults, depending on how often you cook and how central vegetables are to your diet. We aim to provide a 20% return on initial investment to our shareholders, and pass along the abundance when we experience bumper crops. Shareholders also receive weekly emails with cooking tips, recipes, and updates about our farm, farmers, and farming practices. Pickup is located at the farm stand, right next to the admissions area.
In response to the COVID-19 health crisis, all shares will be pre-boxed for curbside pick-up at no additional cost to you. Our farmers will practice social distancing, wearing gloves and masks as they safely deliver your share to your vehicle.
Half shares receive half the volume of the full shares and some items may differ between full and half shares in any given week.
Watch for a welcome e-mail and your first weekly newsletter from our growers on Tuesday June 26th with additional info and recipes.
*We often partner with other Massachusetts farms and growers to offer optional additions like a six-week seasonal fruit share in the fall. We will notify you of these options as they become available, along with pricing for each addition.
Mass Audubon Membership - If you are not already a member, we ask that you join Mass Audubon in order to participate in our CSA program. Learn more about the different levels of membership and their benefits at: www.massaudubon.org/membership.
Growing Practices- We believe that healthy food begins with healthy soil, and healthy soil depends on the vitality of surrounding ecosystems. We farm with the health of our adjacent woods, meadows, ponds, and vernal pools firmly in mind by actively stewarding these natural areas for birds and other wildlife. We follow all organic farming guidelines, and are committed to sustainable soil management by including rest periods in our crop rotation and by spreading our own compost over fields to promote soil fertility-compost made at Drumlin Farm from our humanely-raised livestock. We never use any chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Purchasing a CSA share at Drumlin Farm not only supports our farming program, but also Mass Audubon's overall mission to protect Massachusetts' biodiversity and ecosystems.

Instructions and Directions:
Distributions run from June 30th -Sept 21st. Watch for a welcome e-mail and your first weekly newsletter from our growers on Tuesday June 29th with additional info and recipes.
When you arrive at Drumlin Farm, please follow the signs through the parking lot to the pick-up area and pull up to one of the marked stations.
Please stay in your vehicle. We ask that you tape a piece of paper marked in large letters with your last name in the passenger side window. This will allow us to identify your share.
Our staff member (wearing masks and gloves) will bring your share to the station and leave it on a raised platform just outside your car. Once the staff member has moved away, you may get out of your vehicle to put your share in your car and proceed on your way.
In order to minimize wait times, we have assigned pick up times according to the first letter of your last name:
o Last name A-K: any time between 12-3pm
o Last name L-Z: any time between 3-6pm
o If you need to swap your timeslot for the season, please email [email protected] to let us know and we will be happy to let you switch. For simplicity, we ask that you not move your time slot from week to week, although we do understand that schedules change and things pop up, so some variations may occur.
If you are feeling ill, please send someone else to pick up your share.
