The forest can provide wonderful spring treats, but we need to know what to look for, and how to harvest safely and responsibly. We will focus on the edible parts of the plants: from berries to flowers to roots, and leaves. Join us as we take a walk around the grounds looking for, and learning to identify, wild edibles.
This program will be held entirely outdoors, so please bring rain and cold weather gear as needed. In the case of inclement, every effort will be made to reschedule the event.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 20 pre-registered children and adults. Participants are required to wear a face covering indoors and follow social distancing guidelines.
