Join the BNC as we compete with cities around the globe in the 2021 City Nature Challenge! The observations we make will be added to help Boston's effort to record the most observations. We will learn about how scientists' sample, and use field guides to identify our targets. By identifying as many species as we can, we enrich our knowledge of our ecosystems and bring attention to the importance of having health urban ecosystems. You can take what you learn during the BNC Bioblitz and continue on with the four-day challenge visiting other green spaces in the greater Boston area.
This year we will be joined by acclaimed mycologist Dr. Lawrence to learn the role they play in their respective habitats how to identify them.
