Spring is the time when male American Woodcocks present an amazing aerial courtship dance to attract a female. This spring ritual happens in fields just after sunset. Our program will all take place outdoors, starting with an introduction, before we look and listen for Woodcocks in the field.

Instructions and Directions:

We won't be walking far, but the terrain might be a little rough. This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 11 preregistered participants. Participants are required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed 24 hours before the program.
