Experience nature in a new way in this fully adaptive and inclusive program that allows you to explore nature in the ways most comfortable for you! From touching pelts and skulls to listening for bird songs to discovering which tree has the scent of root beer, you will be able to explore the aspects of nature that interest you most through guided exploration facilitated by a skilled educator. Each Sensory Friendly Day will have open exploration time as well as naturalist led hikes. While these programs will be utilizing strategies that are ideal for individuals with mobility, sensory, and intellectual needs these strategies have benefits to all and all are welcome!
Pre-registration is requested for hikes. Admission is free and all are welcome.
