Report your sightings
Each of our wildlife sanctuaries has a list of the amphibians that have been recorded at that property. If you see something you would like to report, please contact the Inventory Monitoring Project Coordinator. Photos are always helpful for species that may be hard to identify.
Mass Audubon’s amphibian monitoring program provides excellent opportunities for participation by citizen science volunteers, school groups, scout troops, and campers. Monitoring of coverboards is dependent upon volunteers or school groups at the following wildlife sanctuaries: Moose Hill, Oak Knoll, North River, Skunknett River, Stony Brook, and Wellfleet Bay.
Frog calling surveys also lend themselves very readily to volunteers. Contact your local wildlife sanctuary or the Inventory Monitoring Project Coordinator to find out how you can help.
