Explore the developing Nature in the City Program, which envisions a Massachusetts where all city residents - no matter their race, income, ability, spoken language, or lived experience - have access to greenspaces that bring them joy, connect them to the natural world, and address the effects of climate change. |

| 1:00-2:30 pm | Experience Nature in the City at Magazine Beach. Enjoy educational programming, art exhibits, MIT-designed learning kiosks, and shoreline meadow restoration projects. Witness the ways Nature in the City is reaching new audiences and discuss strategies to broaden the program’s impact. |

FAQs
Where should I park?
The morning interactive learning session will take place at the Marriott Courtyard, directly across the street from Magazine Beach. The hotel has no-cost, validated parking.
What should I wear?
While we are hopeful that the day will provide perfect June weather, we know it is not a guarantee. In the afternoon, we will explore Magazine Beach, rain or shine. Dress accordingly.
How can I carpool with fellow members?
This group hails from all over Massachusetts and we would love for you to consider carpooling to the sanctuary with fellow members from your neck of the woods. An attendee list with towns and emails will be shared several weeks prior to the event.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the day?
Prior to the event, we will share a more detailed program and logistical information as well as any additional materials.
