Wild at Art Summer Camp | Staff
Our highly-qualified staff has expertise in child development, environmental education, ecology, and art. Year after year, we are proud to receive exceptional feedback from parents (and campers!) about our counselors.
Staff Selection Criteria
Camp staff are selected for their compassion, enthusiasm, creativity, and ability to work with children in an outdoor setting. All undergo rigorous background checks; are certified in CPR and first aid; and receive training in safety, child development, and nature study prior to the start of camp and throughout the season.
Most of our counselors are college students or graduates pursuing a career in art or environmental sciences, while professional art educators plan and direct camp art activities. All are passionate about sharing the joy and excitement of the outdoors and art with children!
