Vistor Services Volunteer

Location: Canton, MA
Sanctuary: Museum of American Bird Art

Friendly and enthusiastic art and nature lovers needed to help staff our Gallery front desk. This position includes greeting visitors, introducing the exhibit and sanctuary, and selling memberships and other gift store items. New exhibits open every few months so it’s a great opportunity to learn about new artists as well as to explore our collection.

Available shifts are two to four hours Tuesday to Thursday afternoons 1:00-5:00, and special events.

The Museum of American Bird Art at Mass Audubon (MABA) is a professional art museum, connecting people and nature through art. Our exhibitions feature art by internationally recognized artists inspired by nature. Located on a 121-acre wildlife sanctuary just south of Boston, the Museum of American Bird Art  houses Mass Audubon’s extensive art collection, which is shared with the public through exhibitions as well as through a wide variety of education programs.

Qualifications

Volunteers must pass CORI and SORI background checks.
