Winter Closure

All sanctuary buildings—including restrooms—will be closed to the public from Sunday, December 20–Thursday, February 4.

→ Trails will remain open to visitors every day from 7:30 am–7:30 pm. ←

However, portable restrooms will NOT be available from December 20 through February 4.

Wellfleet Bay is open to all visitors. Admission is free for Mass Audubon members. Nonmember fees are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $3 for children ages 2-12 (children under age 2 are free).

What's Open (starting February 5):

  • Information desk: Fridays–Saturdays, 9:30 am–3:00 pm
  • Visitor's Center restrooms: Fridays–Saturdays, 9:30 am–3:00 pm
  • Trails: Open every day, 7:30 am–7:30 pm

  • Indoor exhibits & aquariums
  • All other buildings
