Marine Classification, Grade 5

What is a dichotomous key, and how can we use it to identify a species? Scientists classify organisms to notice shared characteristics and understand relatedness. In this lesson students will act like scientists by noticing the similarities and differences of seashore creatures and then work together to identify them.
