Boston Parents Paper 2017 Family Favorite Winner - Animal & Nature Summer Camps

Are you looking forward to summer 2018? We sure are—especially now that it's time to register for Wellfleet Bay's natural history summer day camps in Wellfleet and Chatham!

At both locations, campers have fun and make friends through hands-on outdoor exploration, noncompetitive games, and creative arts and crafts. But most of all, they enjoy learning from our enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable staff.

In Wellfleet, campers investigate the woodlands, marsh, and coastline of our 937-acre landscape. Older campers travel off-site for special activities, such as kayaking, whale watching, and snorkeling. In Chatham, themed weekly sessions have campers ages 4–13 exploring trails, discovering tidal flats, catching frogs, experimenting with science, dabbling in art, and venturing to new places around Chatham Elementary School.

We also offer a Leader-in-Training (LIT) Program is for teens 14–17 who are looking to gain experience working with children in a camp setting. LITs participate in trainings in natural history topics and teaching skills, assist camp groups, and learn to teach nature-themed lessons, games, and activities.

Sign up today and join the fun!
