Cheep Eats: Short & Sweet Indoor Bird Programs

Join us for these sociable and educational bird talks! The Cheep Eats series offers the chance to learn about birds comfortably and cheaply—because you're invited to bring your own brown bag lunch!

Warm beverages and sweet treats will be provided. All programs run from 11:00 am-11:45 am.

Coastal Waterbird Season Summary

Science Coordinator Mark Faherty will present on the highs and lows of the 2018 nesting season for Piping Plovers, Least Terns, and related coastal waterbirds. Join us to learn more about how many chicks fledges from local beaches, and the conservation challenges they face this year.

Mapping Pine Warblers

Wellfleet Bay's bird banding research has extended beyond the migration seasons with a new project mapping the movements of nesting Pine Warblers on the sanctuary. Science Coordinator Mark Faherty will present on the methods and results of the 2018 season.
