Welcome to Wachusett Meadow Nature Day Camp

At Wachusett Meadow Nature Day Camp in Princeton, campers ages 3.5 to 17 make new friends and discover the wonders of the outdoors. Campers hike the trails and learn about the natural history of Massachusetts, play games, sing camp songs and have a lot of fun along the way!

One-week sessions have campers out in nature exploring habitats, hiking trails, catching insects, experimenting with science, canoeing, dabbling in art, and playing games. Campers stay active with twice-daily hikes and a combination of structured learning and free play. Small group sizes create opportunities to form great relationships in a caring and supportive environment. Learn more >

We believe it’s important to provide children with hands-on experiences that help them feel comfortable in nature. Through various activities and explorations, campers come to understand their place in the “web of life” while having fun and making friends. Learn More >

Camp staff are carefully selected for their enthusiasm, caring attitude toward children, and ability to interact with youth in an outdoor setting. All undergo background checks and participate in a pre-camp training that includes first aid and CPR certification. Learn More >
