Exploring Aquatic Ecosystems

During this field study students will focus on aquatic ecosystems and watersheds. Activities may include macroinvertebrate sampling, measuring stream flow, documenting riparian plant communities, and water quality testing. Students will learn the importance of a healthy watershed and discuss science based solutions to local problems. Pre and post trip visits and supplemnetal activities are available to practice and discuss scientific methods, data analysis, and synthesis for an additional fee.
