Register for Stony Brook Nature Camp for Summer 2023

Registration for Stony Brook Nature Camp in Norfolk opens on January 20, 2023, and we’re looking forward to sunshine, summertime, and days filled with wonder and discovery in the great outdoors.  

To ensure a smooth registration process, please log in to your registration account ahead of time to check that your account and Mass Audubon membership are active. Please note: Your membership must be active through the end of your child’s camp session in order to qualify for the member rate. If you register for camp at the member rate and your membership is due to lapse before the start of camp, you will be billed for your membership renewal. 

About Camp

At Stony Brook Nature Camp in Norfolk, children have the freedom to explore! Campers ages 4.5–15 discover our wildlife sanctuary’s forest, fields, and wetlands during weekly sessions.  

NEW FOR 2023: Sliding Scale Pricing 

At Mass Audubon, we are committed to ensuring that every family that wants their child to experience the friendships, community, confidence, and connection to nature that takes place at summer camp should have the opportunity to do so.  A sliding scale pricing structure will help to remove more financial barriers and expand access to camp for families in an easy and dependable process. Learn more > 

Our Programs 

  • New This Year! Preschool Camp led by Stony Brook Nature Preschool Director Hilary Johansen-Silve. 
  • One-week Nature Camps for ages 4–11, with weekly themes like Surprise Scientists, Drip Drop and Crafty by Nature 
  • One-week Outdoor Leaders Program to give youth ages 13–15 the skills and inspiration to become leaders in the camp community and beyond 
  • Counselors-in-Training for ages 15–17, to gain experience working with children in an outdoor setting
