Snowshoeing at Pleasant Valley
We have the cure for cabin fever—snowshoeing at Pleasant Valley! Bring your own snowshoes, or rent a pair from us. Snowshoeing is a fun winter activity that provides good exercise and a chance to explore the great outdoors during a beautiful season.

Snowshoe Rentals
Available Tuesdays–Sundays from 10:00 am-4:00 pm
All renters must sign in at the Visitor's Window. Renters must leave a driver's license at the desk while out on the trails during the rental period.
- 2-hour maximum rental period
- Available for ages 5 & up
- Snowshoes must be returned 30 minutes before closing (by 3:30 pm).
Please Note
Snowshoes are for use on Pleasant Valley trails only—they may not be taken off the sanctuary grounds!
Occasionally, snowshoes may not be available due to high demand. We recommend you call ahead (413-637-0320) to check availability and conditions.
