At Oak Knoll Summer Camp, no two days are alike! But this sample schedule gives an idea of activity types and flow.
8:30–9:15 am

Camper Check-In & Choice TimeCounselors introduce themselves and campers can choose from a variety of Free Play activities.

9:15–10 am
|
Opening Circle & IntroductionsA series of fun, interactive games and activities introduce the theme of the day and help campers get to know one another better.

10–10:15 am

Snack & Bathroom Break

10:15–11:15 am
|
Hike, Activity, & Craft (Rotation 1)Campers are separated into their age groups and participate in an age-appropriate hike, activity, or craft.

11:15 am–Noon

Hike, Activity, & Craft (Rotation 2)Campers are separated into their age groups and participate in an age-appropriate hike, activity, or craft.

Noon–1 pm

Lunch & Free Play Time

2–2:45 pm

Animal EncountersCampers meet some of the wildlife found at Oak Knoll. This is a time for observation, questions, and sharing.

2:45–3:30 pm
|
Closing Circle & Clean-UpThe group gathers to review what it has learned and prepares for the following day’s activities.

3:30–3:45 pm
|
Camper Pick-UpParents/adults arrive, show the counselors their proper ID for pick-up, and chat with staff about how the day went.

3:30–5:30 pm
|
After Camp Program (optional)Campers may choose from a variety of activities, including active games, restful games, coloring, crafts, and reading. Preregistration required.
