The Farm at Moose Hill offers a full season CSA program from June through mid-October. Our CSA members enjoy 20 weeks of organic, locally-grown vegetables that represent the freshest selection of what the season has to offer.

In late spring, we celebrate the start of the program with tender leafy greens, spring onions, head lettuce, radishes, and other early crops. As the fields warm in the height of summer, volume and variety will grow to include carrots, tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers, melons, summer squash, and more! Depending on what’s most abundant throughout the seasons, pick-your-own vegetables, herbs, and flowers are included in all shares at no additional cost, .

Our goal is to provide a 20% return on initial investment to our shareholders and pass along the abundance when we experience bumper crops. All shareholders also receive weekly newsletters with cooking tips, recipes, and updates about our farm, farmers, and farming practices.

If you have any questions about our CSA program, please don't hesitate to contact us by email or call 781-784-5691.

Types of Shares

We offer several types of shares to meet your family's needs. In addition to full shares and half shares, work share opportunities and shares for SNAP customers are also available.

All CSA shares include 20 weekly pickups from June to mid-October at our barn in Sharon, MA, or at the Boston Nature Center in Mattapan, MA. Pick-your-own (PYO) vegetables, herbs, and flowers will also be available at no additional cost. Depending on conditions, string beans, snap peas, strawberries, and cherry tomatoes may be included in the PYO selection.

Full Share • $575

Ideal for a family of three to four or a household of two vegetable-loving adults, depending on how often you cook and how central vegetables are to your diet. NOTE: Full shares receive additional volume and variety compared to half shares.

Half Share • $350

Best for a household of one to two people. Intended to be supplemented.

Work Share

With this option, you will commit to working with the farm all season long through the CSA distribution work share or the field work share.
