Tracking and the Science of Observation

Tracking has been called the origins of science. This program
introduces students to the methodical practice of gathering
information about tracks left behind by animals or people and using
that information to determine what made those tracks, when they were made, why was the maker of the tracks was there. Focusing on collecting data on a given track will challenge students to develop data taking skills.
