On your Moose Hill adventure children will experience the natural world through their five senses just like wild animals do. Children will use "different eyes" to see like a hawk or an insect, test their noses as they follow a scent trail, and play a game of "owl hears". As students explore their five senses they will learn how different animals use their senses to survive in the wild.
Significant savings are offered when you select a second program to create a full-day of hands-on learning at Moose Hill. This program combines well with Trees, Homes are Habitats, Signs of the Season or Native American Pathways. Because of our large trail system and full-day option, we can serve up to 130 students for many programs. We provide a ratio of one Moose Hill teacher-naturalist to 12 to 14 students.
