Welcome the spring season at Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary with this free community event on April 30. We will have guided nature experiences, arts and crafts for all ages, story times, live animal programs, and more.

10am-2pm Meet the Animals of Blue Hills Trailside Museum
Get up close to some of our Animal Ambassadors while learning about them from a Metro South Educator.
10am-2pm Nature and Art Table
Create unique nature-inspired prints that celebrate spring at Moose Hill.
10:15 Adult Bird Walk
Metro South Bird-a-thon Team Captain Owen Cunningham will take you on a hike around the sanctuary in search of the birds that call the fields, forests, and wetlands of Moose Hill home during the spring.
10:30-11:00 Story Time
Gather ‘round Hilary, Director of the Stony Brook Nature Preschool, for a live reading of a nature themed book.
10:30 Backyard and Migratory Birds of Moose Hill
Join wildlife biologist and ornithologist Lara Kazo to learn about Backyard and Migratory Birds Talk of Moose Hill. Learn about some local species migration routes and behaviors, the impacts of climate change on migratory species, and understand why birds migrate to Massachusetts. Learn where to find spring birds and how you can help and support wildlife during this critical time of year.
11:30 Family Nature Walk
Moose Hill Education Coordinator & Camp Director Shawn Moriarity will be leading a family friendly walk around the sanctuary.
11:30 The Farm at Moose Hill Q&A
Curious about our Organic Farm? Our Farm Manager, Jill Banach, will be doing a Q&A about all things farming at Moose Hill.
