School & Group Programs at Long Pasture

At Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, we offer a multitude of fun and educational nature-based programs year round for students from age 5 to 18. Our field studies are organized around critical ecosystems—tidal flats, salt marsh, beach, meadow, and vernal pool—which are home to a rich collection of plants and animals. The goal of our outdoor programs is to explore the ecological concepts of food web, adaptation, diversity, and human interrelationships with these habitats.

Each program is aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Education frameworks. Whether the program takes place at your site or ours, we will work with you to develop a curriculum that meets your needs and the frameworks. All of our programs seek to inspire children to look at Cape Cod’s natural environments in new ways and empower them as scientists. Learn More
