Situated in the heart of Cape Cod, our wildlife sanctuaries (Long Pasture, Ashumet Holly, Skunknett River, and Sampsons Island) encompass a variety of the area's most critical habitats—including barrier beaches, coastal plain ponds, salt marshes, cedar swamps, and vernal pools. 

Each sanctuary serves as a living classroom for appreciation and discovery of the Cape's diverse coastal systems and the wildlife within them. And they're open 365 days a year. We invite your group to join us and explore!

Our Programs

We offer more than 20 different group programs, each of which focuses on a different topic, location, and/or habitats. There are three types of programs to choose from:

  • Naturalist-guided field walks in a variety of habitats
  • Kayak & stand-up paddleboard excursions around the Cape
  • Indoor lectures about a wide range of nature topics
