WHAT WE NEED
WHO YOU ARE
WHAT YOU'LL DO
| Special Events Assistant
|| You like the excitement around an event and helping it run smoothly. You're the friendly face that helps during the event before and after too! Maybe you were a playwright in a past life and you love a good skit!
|| You name it, we got it! Selling tickets, checking people in. Event planning, we got it! Set up, clean up? We have that too, and many hands makes it go by fast! Directing parking? We need that too! Plan a skit? You bet! Events might be the Enchanted Forest at Halloween, Cape Wildlife Festival, or the Summer Soiree.
| Public Outreach
|| You have a little time and want to help. You know the lay of the land of businesses and community organizations on the cape. And, you're friendly!
|| You'll distribute information to local businesses and community organizations, and "chat up" Long Pasture. You'll help spread the word about this hidden jewel!
| Fundraising Outreach
|| You know money doesn't go on trees. And, you know non profits prosper when area business and organizations partner with them. Maybe you've done a little marketing in the past, or know local business owners.
|| You'll assist the Director and Development Manager in increasing the number of partners, volunteers, and supporters of Long Pasture. You help secure kind donations, network with individuals and companies to establish new relationships, and even promote our work to local media.
All volunteers must pass a background records check ; CORI, SORI and drivers (if driving is required to volunteer).
